BEARTek gloves uses a well-known and mature technology known as Bluetooth. Our gloves are basically a controller for the electronic device we attach to it. The only technical requirement to operate our gloves is that you 'pair' them with the intended device(s). While that is a very simple process, the method can vary from device to device. Please see your smart-device owner's manual for Bluetooth enabling and pairing details.
Once paired, you literally only need to touch your thumb to a fingerpoint to execute a command such as answer the phone, play, pause, fast forward, etc.
Yes. The design of the glove was very specifically to enable the owner to save money and complication by having one electronic brain to interchange between all BEARTek gloves.
BEARTek gloves are made to allow as many touchpoints as possible , even if they aren't being used. This allows upgrades and new features to be added simply by using a different brain module. We are always looking for ways to improve the product and when changes come, the last thing we want you have to do is replace you entire glove collection just for a few extra buttons.
Yes. The glove is designed so only the thumb can activate the touchpoints. The gloves also have a button on the side of the index finger which will enable and disable the thumb which in turn will allow you to touch the activation points all you want and never activate the commands.
Pairing is easy. Just turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone. With the BEARTek Bluetooth module powered on, allow your phone to find it. Then just click 'BEARTek' from your phone. Now you're paired and ready to rock and roll.
